Our Mission 

Mission Statement:

“In accordance with God’s Word, we at Zion Lutheran are encouraged to work together to be a voice to the world. This we do faithfully by loving God, serving our neighbors- near and far- telling and teaching the good news of salvation. Together, we are strengthened for these tasks by God’s baptismal promises, ongoing bible study, regular worship and fervent prayer! Praise be to God!”

Vision Statement: “Zion Lutheran is a Christian family which focuses on God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Following Jesus’ example, we love, forgive, and serve as we are strengthened through His word and sacraments.”

ELCA’s Mission Statement : “Together in Jesus Christ we are freed by grace to live faithfully, witness boldly and serve joyfully.”

ELCA’s Vision Statement : “A world experiencing the difference God’s grace and love in Christ makes for all people and creation.”

ELCA’s Values Statement: “Our values are grounded in faith, in our biblical and Lutheran confessional sources and our love of God and neighbor. They speak to the way this church lives and practices our faith, and they will guide how we journey forward in Christ as church together.”
